Meadow Song

Handwoven Scarf – Meadow Song A vibrant handwoven scarf alive with the colours of spring meadows — greens, blues, and soft bursts of pink, yellow, and orange. Hand spun and woven in Northumberland, this joyful piece of wearable fibre art captures the beauty of nature in every thread.

A joyful celebration of colour and texture, this handwoven scarf is inspired by the vibrancy of spring meadows — a mix of fresh greens, soft blues, and bright bursts of pink, yellow, and orange.

Each yarn has been hand spun on my Ashford Country Spinner and hand woven on my Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom in Northumberland. The scarf is created from a blend of merino wool, hand dyed Lincolnshire Longwool locks, sari silk, cotton, recycled fibres, and a touch of Angelina sparkle, giving it warmth, softness, and a beautiful tactile quality.

The result is a piece of wearable fibre art that’s full of life and character — one of a kind, made to last a lifetime.
