Sea Worn Glass is a one-of-a-kind pendant inspired by the softly weathered fragments of glass shaped by the sea.
A beautiful piece of pale, frosted sea glass forms the centre of the design, framed with hand-worked, silver-coloured lead-free soft solder. The solder has been deliberately textured and built up around the glass, creating an irregular, organic edge with a wonderfully sculptural quality.
Rather than aiming for perfect symmetry, the natural shape of the sea glass has guided the design. The flowing solder marks and uneven textures are intentionally retained, giving the piece its distinctive contemporary, slightly Brutalist character.
The pendant hangs from a silver-coloured stainless steel chain and is finished with a small coordinating sea glass drop at the extender, adding a lovely detail at the back.
