A gentle, earthy handwoven scarf inspired by quiet walks through woodland paths — tones of moss green, heather purple, and soft stone grey woven together in a beautifully balanced design. Flecks of colour and texture catch the light like wildflowers among leaves, creating a subtle depth and movement throughout.
Each yarn has been hand spun on my Ashford Country Spinner and hand woven on my Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom in Northumberland. The scarf is made from a blend of merino wool, hand dyed Lincolnshire Longwool locks, sari silk, cotton, recycled fibres, and a touch of Angelina sparkle, giving it a soft texture and natural warmth.
Every piece is a unique work of wearable fibre art — tactile, timeless, and made to be treasured for years to come.
