Storm Drift

Soft and textured handwoven scarf in layered tones of grey and silver with delicate flecks of colour. Hand spun and woven in Northumberland, this timeless piece of wearable fibre art carries the quiet strength of storm and sea.

Evoking the calm strength of shifting skies and sea foam, this handwoven scarf is a study in soft greys and silver tones with subtle flecks of colour. Its texture and movement capture the feeling of wind and water meeting stone — quiet, powerful, and timeless. Each yarn has been hand spun on my Ashford Country Spinner and hand woven on my Ashford Rigid Heddle Loom in Northumberland. Made from a blend of merino wool, hand dyed Lincolnshire Longwool locks, sari silk, cotton, and recycled fibres, the scarf has a beautifully soft handle and natural warmth. Every piece is a unique example of wearable fibre art — designed for comfort, expression, and longevity. Hand spun • Hand woven • Made with care Approx length: [144cm long x 31cm wide Cool hand wash, dry flat All photographs are as true to the original colour as possible, but variations may occur between screens and monitors.
