A one-of-a-kind sculptural pendant combining warm copper with contrasting silver-coloured, lead-free soft solder.
The copper has been worked by hand to create an irregular, flowing surface, while the solder has been allowed to form organically around the edges, creating raised areas, ripples and wonderful tactile detail. Rather than aiming for perfect symmetry, I’ve embraced the marks and variations created during the making process, giving the piece its contemporary, almost Brutalist character.
The result feels somewhere between jewellery and a tiny piece of wearable sculpture — individual, textural and designed to be touched as well as worn.
Supplied on an 18-inch stainless-steel chain.
Materials: Copper, lead-free silver-coloured soft solder and stainless-steel chain.
Presentation: Presented in a black gift box, ready for gifting or keeping.
Care: Keep dry and remove before showering, bathing, swimming, washing up or using household chemicals. Copper will naturally darken and develop its own patina with age and wear; this is part of the character of the metal.
As each piece is handmade, small irregularities and tool marks are part of its individual character rather than imperfections.
